How To Hypnotize Someone In The Next Ten Minutes
Would you like to learn how to hypnotize someone? Is it all a load of malarkey? Do you believe in hypnosis like the tooth fairy? Do you thing learning how to hypnotize people would take years of dedicated study?
Here are some simple facts.
Hypnosis is nothing more than directly contacting the subconscious mind.
There is nothing unnatural about hypnosis, in fact you have been doing it all your life without knowing it.
There is nothing mystical or religious about hypnosis (however religions do utilize it).
Hypnosis is not hard, it is easy and fun to do.
After this simple exercise you will have learned how to hypnotize people, and remove the mystifying shroud surrounding hypnosis. If you can set aside your misconceptions for a few minutes, I will show you what 95% of hypnosis is really about.
Have your volunteer sit somewhere with both feet firmly on the floor.
Have them close their eyes after they take three very deep very slow breaths and relax.
Reassure them that they will completely aware of everything that will happen and that they will be fully conscious through the entire exercise.
Next breathe in through the nose filling the lungs completely with air. Count to three and have them slowly blow the air out through their mouth, letting all of the air out of their lungs, while they are relaxing their scalp, head, neck, and shoulders.
Breath in again deeply and slowly, this time while they exhale, have them relax their arms, chest and abdomen.
Have them relax from the waist down as they exhale slowly. Start with the hips moving down the legs to the bottoms of their feet.
Ask your subject to put their arms straight out from their body.
Have them imagine a bag of groceries hanging from one of their arms. Feeling the weight of the bag, not too heavy, only a couple of pounds, just enough to notice the weight.
On the left arm tell them to picture a large bunch of helium balloons tied to their left hand.
Next you need to paint a very vivid picture of the bag of groceries. What kind of bag is it. What color are the cans. Describe what store the bag is from, and describe the contents of the bag.
Next paint the same kind of intense picture of the balloons. Include the number, colors, if they say anything, Are they tied with ribbon, yarn or string. Excruc

iating detail.
Next turn your attention back to the bag. Start adding more content to the bag, a bottle of ketchup, a can of chicken noodle coup, a bag of carrots. Use whatever comes to mind, but be specific, keep painting the picture. Have them start to notice their right arm is beginning to struggle under the added weight. It is getting harder and harder to hold it up.
Turn your focus to the left arm and the balloons. Start adding balloons. The whole time making their arm lighter and lighter. Suggest how hard they have to pull down to keep their arm from floating up with the balloons.
Return from one arm to the other back and forth, making one arm lighter and the other arm heavier.
After just a minute or two of description from you, you will notice their arms starting to move, one down and one up. Some people only move slightly while others move drastically.
Make your descriptions very vivid, describe everything in complete detail. Once one or both arms have moved, have your volunteer open their eyes and notice the location of their arms.
They will no doubt be astounded at your mad skills, and so should you. After all, you just learned how to hypnotize someone.
