Do You Know How Often Are You A Subject Of Hypnosis?

How many times have you been hypnotized, today?

I’m not mindreader, but the answer isn’t zero. “Now while you look at my watch, you start to notice how weight of your eyelids is starting to get higher and higher …”

This is probably the first thing that pops in your mind when you hear the word “hypnosis”. And you’re right. Hypnosis is partly about relaxing the brain, by doing so you become more open to suggestions. Although it produces a lot of controversy, hypnosis is well known and had been used for thousands of years, I think it proves its effectiveness.

Hypnotic language of persuasion, however, is something else. After all, no one wants clients to fall asleep during business presentation! When I say hypnotic persuasion I mean speech and text that is impossible to not listen to or read. Text, which grabs you by your eyeballs and makes you more and more interested with every paragraph you read, speech which makes your suggestions irresistible to your listeners. Not only do they read and listen to you, but also remember and - more importantly - take action under the influence of these words.

I bet this is the more desirable result then making your prospects fall asleep.

It is more than probable you’ve read a text that was of incredible interest to you, you also met a person you just couldn’t stop listening to. Have you ever lose your sense of time? You were so drawn into this activity that even if someone would say something to you, you would be unable to recall it? You were so absorbed by reading or listening, that everything else didn’t matter? If you can recall such a situation, you have been hypnotized. And what you have been experiencing is called trance.

Almost everything it can make you feel this way is able to hypnotize you. It can be anything from article to movie.

Now I would like you to recall a time when you have been put into the trance by advertisement. Hmm, you still have no example? Don’t worry it’s because majority of advertisements aren’t even remotely interesting.

But imagine what would it be like if you could use your language in a way that would hypnotize your listeners, make them remember exactly what you’ve said and even more importantly would make them do

what ever you suggested them to do!

Completely useless stuff, don’t you think? It would make no sense in selling, politics or negotiations. Who needs it!?

We very often experienced trance in our lifes, but majority of people do not notice it. Whenever you travel in your mind somewhere far, far away and stop to notice what is happening around you - you are in a trance! Or when you are reading something fascinating and you just can not break - you are also in a trance.

Another very interesting phenomenon is group hypnosis. Do political party and religious leaders put us into trance? I wouldn’t like to make you nervous, but numerous studies show it is much easier to control people in group gatherings.

However the issue of conformity is not enough to excuse group behavior. People in the crowd can do stuff they wouldn’t even think of doing on their own, but in group it seems natural and right. I would like to ask you a simple question: “have you ever modified your decision, under the pressure of other people?

Hypnosis is all around us, we are hypnotized by movies, newspapers, music, we even hypnotize ourselves. This process takes place no matter if you like it or not.

I know there are probably hundreds of thoughts rushing through your head right now, but wonder for a moment can you benefit from this phenomenon? Maybe it’s exactly what you need to achieve success?
